I just don’t think they can afford to raise the price. It’s been a total disaster from a PR perspective in terms of how the already announced prices have gone over. Nintendo hasn’t had this much negativity surrounding them in the casual eye and media since peak Wii U days. If they raise the prices further, I’m calling it now that this is going to be a massive failure for them initially and they will have to slash prices quickly ala 3DS.
