Well for comparison, here in Canada:
Switch launched at CAD 399, BotW CAD 80 for physical edition
Switch 2 is set to launch at CAD 629 (+58%), physical games are not priced yet $80 USD is currently CAD 111 (+39%)
Canada inflation from 2017 to now is 25.7% (According to Bank of Canada)
So Nintendo prices are going up over double the inflation rate here for the console, 150% over for games.
And no discounted Nintendo games here, second hand only.
(Correction, MKW is $80 in USD)
