In terms of scope/shaders/geometry/etc yes there are, but that is because Prime 4 is primarily a Switch 1 game, hardware that's something like 1/3 as strong as a PS4.

On the other hand, could PS4 run the Switch 2 version of the game at 4K/60fps or 1080/120fps though? I'm not so sure.

We'll have to wait a while longer to see what Switch 2 can really do when games are built from the ground up to push its hardware.

I respectfully respond. If at some point I had talked about FPS performance, your argument would be absolutely correct, but that is not the case.

I only talked about visuals, whether the game is running at 30 FPS or 120 FPS doesn't matter. The conversation is about visuals and beauty.

clearly he is not referring to performance or FPS. What he said is untrue.

Anyway, i honestly would like to stop the discussion here. I apologize if I offended/embarrassed colleague Shaunodon, nothing good will come out of this.

You think framerate doesn't affect the visuals of a game? What's the point of comparing the most meticulously designed game if it runs too blurry to see anything properly. That's the obvious effect of running a modern game designed for modern tvs at sub 1080p 30fps. At this point you may as well just compare the game to a wallpaper if that's your only standard.

Literally at no point did I state that visuals are only a matter of static images. It's only your narrow-minded perspective that assumed we should be judging visuals that way.
