That's not what I remember. The original Switch had a similar amount of backlash regarding it's price. $300 console with no-pack in, paid online, $50 tech demo, expensive accessories "underpowered hardware" many people predicted another Wii U from it. But as we know that didn't happen. Switch 2 hands on impressions are very positive. People like the hardware and games, and even the price of the console is reasonable for what you're getting. The problem really is just some of the games, and the fact that Nintendo has really bungled their communication on that front. |
The Switch critics were small in number and in the minority. The Switch 2 critics are everywhere, and it's almost all you're hearing.
