Like I think its clear at this point, Nintendo is raising it atleast 50$ in the US.
Its going to go from 450$->500$ (for the non bundle), and 499$ to 549$ for the bundle (this is the best case, if they raise prices imo).
(I don't see them doing less than 50$ increments in price.)

There's nothing clear right now, except that the stock market will further tank if Trump insists on his tariffs. But Trump doesn't have the power of Putin yet, so he can be stopped and it's almost guaranteed that he will be stopped, because all the people who supported Trump to bolster their own bank accounts will turn against him when he's making them lose money. Republican politicians will also begin to see the writing on the wall that supporting Trump's economic policies will make them unelectable, so they'll change their tune.

This global trade war that Trump has started is having such severe immediate negative consequences that it could all be dialed back completely within a manner of a couple of weeks, provided Trump's supporters show the spine to defy him. And if it plays out that way, none of the consoles' prices will change at all.

idk about that. One theory suggest that Trump may actually be attempting to *force* a recession, so as to have an excuse to lower interest rates for his oligarchic friends. (And the party isn’t gonna stop Trump’s tariffs, b/c this is ultimately bipartisan legislation: US is in an all-but-name New Cold War with China. Weakening China via tariffs is *much more important* than retaining a recession-free economy.) That said, Trump has been engaging a lot with “bark, no bite” in these tariffs…so it wouldn’t surprise me if he does backtrack.

Staying on topic: The gaming industry looks rather bleak. The explosion in gaming production costs combined with a collapse in consumer purchasing power is a recipe for disaster, and could legitimately lead to a (mild) crash. I don’t know if Nintendo will risk more than $500…that would be very bold. Worth keeping in mind, however, is that Sony will almost definitely raise PS5 price around $50-100 in response to tariffs legitimately going through. So, it shouldn’t be much of a Nintendo Only problem, as much as it would be an industry-wide problem…I would think.
