They will absolutely ensure its death in the U.S. if they go to 600 or higher. Nintendo relies on casual gamers and families to be their bread and butter. Absolutely none of those people will buy it at that price. They’d be far smarter to keep the price, take the hit of not making the level of profits they hoped at first, and go for increased demand in the market from all of the Americans who will want to buy a switch 2 if it’s “only” $450 vs Xbox and PlayStation going up bc of the tariffs. Far smarter strategy here.
