Well yes they will be considering lowering the price they charge other retailers to try and keep the final price offered to the consumer by the retailers down.

But orders through the Nintendo store Nintendo would be paying the tariffs, so they may raise the price their, and of course retailers may have to.

So possibly increasing price charged to consumer and decreasing price charged to retailer to keep the former under control.

If the preorder price for customers wasn't potentially changing there'd be no reason to delay preorders.
