Normal microSD cards pretty useless in Switch 2?

It makes sense. PS5 and Series X moved to SSDs and faster read speeds. Nintendo moved to UFS faster read speed. Those SD cards are faster. I have no issue with it. WHenever I get a Switch 2 I will take out the 512GB card transfer the data to Switch 2. Put the card in my phone as an upgrade.
