The stupidity in Trump’s new tariffs is apparently limitless.
He has introduced a 10% tariff on the British Indian Ocean Territory.
The only inhabited island there is Diego Garcia, home to US service personnel.

Rand Paul: “Tariffs have led to political decimation. When McKinley, most famously put tariffs on in 1890, they lost 50% of their seats in the next election. In the early 1930s, we lost the House and the Senate for 60 years. So they are not only bad economically, they are bad politically.
