Oh it wasn't a problem for me just made me think initially is something wrong with the LAN port it installed fine and I actually need to log in with a Microsoft account since I bought a digital licence for it many years ago for the ease of just logging in and having your Windows activated whenever you get a new PC or upgrade some parts.

Well, I'm glad you don't need it.

Still, it can be a hassle to have to deal with connecting it to the net even before it has completed the installation so, while you're fine, this new trick may help someone else.
