Switch 2 isn’t really any more expensive than Switch 1 compared to Xbox/Playstation offerings other than Series S but Xbox One S was also regularly on sale for $199-249 around that time so pretty similar.
As for software, $69 is the standard for big releases on Series/PS5 so not sure why that would hurt Nintendo….$79 for Mario Kart does suck though but maybe that’s to incentivize people to get the bundle where it’s $50.
