I remember in this thread saying how Nintendo didn't do enough to capitalize on the casual/simulator type games on Switch considering the massive success of Animal Crossing. I felt like games like Tomadachi Life and Nintendogs would've been perfect for the system and potentially even bigger system sellers than Mario/Zelda/Pokemon at this stage of the Switch's life since most people interested in those franchises already own a Switch, I felt like Tomadachi Life & Nintendogs could attract new and returning Nintendo users to Switch since the gap for those games haven't been so filled for the Switch.

Now we finally got Tomadachi Life like I asked for, but I feel like this is to little to late for my liking. Switch 2 will already have been released for a year by the time it releases and since Switch 2 will be able to play all Switch 1 games, people might just get the Switch 2 as opposed to Switch 1 especially if it isn't that much more expensive. It'll also release when Switch 1 hype in general will be at its lowest point and 6 years after the Animal Crossing craze, I think it would've been better to release this in 2022 or 2023 which would've given the Switch 1 a big boost, not when the Switch 1 is in its 11th hour.

However, it still should definitely hep make that push to 160 Million

Tomodachi Life will no doubt be a cross gen title, Switch at this point will leg it out just fine the game isn't too late for Switch it'll be early for Switch 2.
