Lmao I remember this from way back in the day.

Wiiware, while limited by very tiny file sizes, did have some real gems, like World of Goo, LostWinds 1 & 2, Jett Rocket, Fast Racing League, etc.

40MB is indeed tiny, but the internal SSD of the Wii was only 512MB anyway.

Xbox 360 had a file limit of 50MB originally, in order to fit on a 64MB memory card.
Eventually they increased the limit to 150 MB, then 350 MB, then 2048MB and then enabled sizes over 2GB.

So launch Xbox 360 vs Wii was fairly competitive when comparing WiiWare and Xbox Live Arcade.

It's a shame Nintendo didn't enable larger sizes and made people use SD Cards, because things like Super Meat Boy would have been awesome to see on the console.
