In the past I've posted images of different parts of my collection, but I've never posted the entire currently displayed collection all at once.  I do own other physical media, for example: NES games, Super NES, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, Atari, and music CD's that aren't in jewel cases but contained in sleeves;, stored away in airtight bins.

You and Conina have such impressive displays.

I mostly have two sets of shelves that I'm too lazy to put pictures of up.

Another goal I achieved in the rearranging process was creating space for growth.  I cancelled my Dish Network satellite service 5-6 years ago and just hooked up an over-the-air antenna. I also don't have and have never had a streaming service.  At the time I cancelled Dish, my monthly bill was around $140, so I continue to spend that same $140 a month on physical purchases instead.  I believe I should be well set already for decades of entertainment.  And many of my shows, I wouldn't mind watching over and over again.

This was my justification too, but I was very bad at staying under my budget last year. A lot closer this year, but still not great.

It's also just nice because you have something after buying it, which isn't the case with streaming services/cable/satellite.

I already had about a 500 dollar budget just for purchasing media: books, games, movies, music, but just added the 140 from the cancelled satellite to it (I wasn't really clear in my post).  But lately I've scaled back and have been trying to keep it between 100-200 a month total.  I try to leave a whole bunch of movies in my saved for later section in my cart and wait for price drops to go after quantity.

I'm also guilty of exceeding my budget at times, but try to make up for it in following months.
