Post-launch. You had to wait months before another N64 game launched. For months N64 only had 3 games. Yes, good games but even then just 3 while PS1 was pumping them out. Severe drought.

Yeah. I've said this before. I think N64 had higher highs, but PS1 had a far better library on the whole. Of course, it's up to the individual if they prefer a small number of all-time great games vs. thirty really great games. But it's true that N64 had a, er... sparse expanse. lol
