I've also been looking for Lawrence of Arabia on 4K blu-ray for a long time, I heard it's a gorgeous movie.

Lawrence of Arabia is already stunning on blu-ray. Great conversion from the 65mm source.

Lawrence of Arabia was shot on 65mm Eastman 50T 5250 and shown in Super Panavision 70 with an aspect ratio of 2.20:1. It's easily one of the sharpest and clearest movies ever produced, its image the very personification of filmic beauty. This is one to own on 4K, as it perfectly shows the undeniable power of 65mm film.

I would love to see it on 4K HDR (although Panavision didn't have HDR so not sure what HDR would add...) but it's CAD 115 for the box ugh. Waiting for a 'paperback' version.

That's one that's still wrapped in plastic.  Blu-ray version.  Now y'all got me hyped up to view it.  I have never seen it. This will be perfect to schedule for this Saturday evening's screening.  3 hours and 47 minutes! I love long epic movies.
