Just to be clear, I'm not defending this movie or anything, I was talking in the general sense (if they want to make any good and expensive movies, then do it), but that's not what's happened with this one.

And that's what I was talking about, they release way too much stuff, some of that is good and some bad. Too much content makes it hard for me to find the good stuff, and they just killed a lot of good shows over the years... but even despite all of that Netflix is still huge. It's mind boggling. I unsubbed years ago and I feel I'm not missing much.

It's a matter of convenience. And with 2 kids, there's always someone watching something (in a month) on Netflix, well so far anyway.

And that's the whole point of subscriptions, lock you in cause of familiarity and multiple people using the service. The same as cable TV and now it's starting to approach the same price as well. Except you either pay a premium or can't skip commercials like you could since VHS.

Half the time on Netflix is spend in the menus looking for what to watch :/ So yeah I agree, too much stuff to wade through to find something decent. Hence I started watching Lost which I only watched a few shows of when it was aired. (In Season 6 now, going downhill, first couple seasons were great)
And I just bought Bablyon 5 complete series on Blu-Ray. I'll be Netflix free for a while after finishing Lost and Adolescense ( You peeked my interest @LegitHyperbole )
