I don't think they care because the devices in the future won't be subsidised anyway, they'll sell at a profit.

Plus if it's not ready then there's not much that can be done, don't want another RROD from rushed development.

If the next boxes are basically a PC in an Xbox shell, doesn't that already reduce any development time?
