Yeah, I wouldn't even be opposed to America moving some troops from Western Europe to Eastern Europe but Hungary of all countries being the one chosen, the one country that isn't even at risk of a Russian invasion because Orban would hand Hungary over to Putin on a silver platter, I see this more as a threat towards Europe, it's America saying they're pulling their troops from Western Europe and placing them into a Russian friendly country, it's a message to us that America wouldn't lift a finger to help us against Russia anymore, it's a greenlight for Russia to threaten the rest of Europe as American troops sit safely inside the pro-Russian country.
Also, I don't know if they're considering pulling all troops out of Germany but that would be such a braindead strategic and military move to make that it would only benefit Russia, I mean, the Ramstein Air Base? America's HQ for their European and African missions? The vital forward base for American operations to aid them across the world, they really think they can replace that in Hungary of all countries? And like I said, I wouldn't be opposed at some movement of troops, but really picking Hungary, instead of Finland, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, the countries actually at risk, etc. All of these countries also spend higher in NATO than Hungary.
