Anti-Abortion Religious Protesters Branded 'Disgusting' As Locals Confront Group
Texas-based 40 Days for Life confirmed it was holding a wave of demonstrations outside the hospital starting from today. The activity, which will take place every day from today until April 13, has been announced despite the new laws which were brought in to prevent such demonstrations near abortion clinics.
Six members of the group took part in the vigil on Wednesday, holding 40 Days for Life placards with messages such as "Choose life". They did not want to speak to the media, saying only "we are here to pray", as they stood at the junction of Shieldhall Road and Hardgate Road.
