Trump and Vance have always had everyone in life delivered to them, Zelensky has had to endure death and destruction for years and fight for everything he has.

They are not even in the same league in terms of credibility.

I honestly wish my country wasn't allied to the USA currently.

Five Eyes is compromised now with America in it, I don't trust intelligence sharing with them. CANZUK should replace AUKUS and it should be closely aligned with EU. UK and Canada have been allies longer than UK and America and quite frankly, Canada is a better ally than America to UK, I trust the Canadians to not backstab us at least.

None of this will happen, Starmer is insistent on trying to talk Trump over. Hated him saying UK and USA are best friends in response to the Canadian question, it's not the message I want sent to my Canadian bros. UK could take a real leadership role for Europe and also a proposed CANZUK. Tie it together with EU and we'd be a powerful economic and military bloc alliance.
