I used to play mine from time to time until relatively recently. Mainly SNES, PSX, and Dreamcast. Most games on these consoles I have on modern hardware, and PSX is about to be obsolete as the remaining games I play regularly on the console are coming to Switch in the next two months (Suikoden and Lunar).
They need to bring the Soul Blazer trilogy to Switch/Switch 2.
I know a number of people who have collections of 90s games and consoles. One thing that stuck out with me is I was hanging out with someone at a pub, we bumped into some stoners he knew from school, and we ended up playing some Mario Kart on SNES.
Not to mention, a lot of people seem to be into vinyl. That's from before my time!
I will say, there are definitely a lot more people who play old consoles in Canada than any other place I've ever lived. I even know a guy who has old arcade machines in his basement - granted, he immigrated from the UK. Most of my friends are immigrants.
