So it seems that 9070XT is priced in China at 80% of 5070Ti, which would translate to $599 in US market - if true, then AMD just might have a good gen this time around.

Yep, $549 for the 9070 and $599 for the 9070XT as they just announced in their Radeon event.

As for the performance, 9070XT got compared to the 5070Ti, and their result was that the 9070XT was 2% slower in Raster... But then also 3% faster in RT in over 30 games tested by AMD!

Other than those tests they compared both cards only to the 7900GRE, and that was probably because it's the card they currently sell that's in the price range of the 9070(XT) cards. Of course, since all those benchmarks are from AMD themselves, take them with a grain of salt, but it's been a pretty good showing from them today.

Another interesting thing from the presentation was that FSR4 is built upon FSR3.1, so if someone updates the API it goes for both 3.1 and 4.0, meaning that while AMD had to make FSR4 exclusive to RDNA4 due to hardware limitations, FSR 3.1 will continue to get updated and thus people with older GPUs are not fully left out.
