Battle racers. What other racing games apart from Mario Kart still have weaponry to take competitors out?

Also Turn-based wargames like Panzer General or Battle Isle. It's all quiet on that front now...

Arcade shooters like Gradius are also pretty rare nowadays. Most that came out in the last decades were bullet hell titles, which I hate.

Finally "Boomer" FPS. There's really just Serious Sam which really keeps this genre going. Really wish there was a new Unreal/Quake/Duke Nukem (yes, really) coming out. Doom has changed too much for my taste, and Wolfenstein looks dead since Youngblood.
