Why would it be so surprising? Forza horizon 5 has long legs and simulators make a lot of money thats why we got a 24 version. Indy beaten sport games like UFC would be amazing.

UFC 5 was released in 2023, and no this list doesn't include microtransaction spending.... Indie should not have dropped out of the top 10 on Xbox in only it's second month and losing to older gamepass titles. Also note this is for Xbox only and Flightsim is almost certainly more popular on PC. Outside of CoD of course this was meant to be their big title of the year. The steam player count was the first sign something was up but this is the smoking gun.
