Is the Switch really more of a secondary system rather than a primary system?

You need to get out of your bubble. The top 4 best selling games by revenue in the USA last year aren't even on the Switch. The amount of gigantic titles that have skipped the Switch is huge. It's fine to have Switch as your primary platform, but to claim that Switch is where gaming as a whole is at and that other platforms are pathetic is so far removed from reality. Nintendo themselves are the only ones pushing huge numbers on the Switch. Your personal likes and dislikes have made you completely lose perspective, Switch is just a part of a humongous industry.

In 2024 alone you have massive titles like College Football, Helldivers 2, Black Myth Wukong, Palworld and Black Ops 6 all 20m+ sellers (or definitely on their way there) skipping Switch.

I mean using that argument, PS5 is missing games like Mario Kart 8 deluxe that will sell over 80 million copies. Isn't it a big blow for the PS5 to miss out on such games? Why is it only a blow for Nintendo to miss out on those big selling games to PS but not the other way as well?
