Not sure it's a distraction but that is happening either way so it's important to focus on both. Trump thinks Ukraine joining NATO and regaining any territory is less realistic than Canada becoming a 51st state. The only way Canada becomes a 51st state is by force and boy Americans will be in for a surprise if that happened, they ought to look up Canada's brutality during WW1/WW2.

Yes and that is very surprising to us.  Canadians seem so polite and laid back, yet are straight up killers on the battlefield.
