Honestly...not sure what people have against the rocket barrel levels! I thought they were fine! Actually, they're some of my more enjoyed levels because they're like the only way these games improved on the SNES trilogy (The physics are still SLIGHTLY heavy/off compared to the crispness of SNES and the Mine Cart levels especially actually give you the ability to duck and mess around in water). 

It's the awkward button controls to drop/raise the barrel which is easy to over/undershoot AND the fact that if you so much as brush anything, even so much as an piece of ice that's the size of a toothpick, your ass dead and you gotta do that whole section over again. SOOOO freaking frustrating! And some of them get so BS with the hazards and enemies that it makes you want to chuck your controller through a window. XD
