NEWS: USAID is shrinking its essential worldwide staff to 294 — a massive decrease from 14000.

An internal breakdown shows the agency being left with just 12 people assigned to Africa, 21 to the entire Middle East, and 8 to Asia.

America seems set on surrendering their entire global soft power, in the future this decision will be looked on as a disastrous one.

USAID is there to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases, ones which if escalated, would eventually reach America, USAID helps developing foreign countries, which deepens economic ties, it improves foreign relations which in turn improves diplomatic relations and America's soft power which has a positive impact on all aspects of America's economic, diplomatic and political strength.

This new Republican Isolationism is so fucking dumb.

Anyway, another China W if they fill the void.
