If they where telling the truth i highly doubt it. It would look very stupid for them, if Nintendo would reach any number higher than them and you cannot exclude this possibility anymore, so they will stay quiet or will up their number again to "nearly 165 million" in 10 years...  The question is: Where do we draw the red line and say: No we don't believe this anymore!!...?
