TSMC is building a massive chip foundry in Arizona, where I live. It was brought here thanks in large part to Biden's CHIPS Act. Trump would be an idiot to engage in economic attacks on Taiwan. If he weren't so invested in just tearing everything down that Biden and Obama did, he'd leave Taiwan alone and take credit he doesn't deserve when the TSMC foundry finally comes online (after multiple cost overruns). But, well, you know. |
There's still time for him to take credit, I wouldn't put it past him to threaten tariffs on Taiwan and then make the claim that Taiwan caved and he got a chip foundry in Arizona out of it, the one already being built, not like his fanbase would question his claims, Lmao. We're beyond the time of facts meaning anything now, it's just who can better manipulate and bullshit people
