Switch 2 officially announced, switch 2 direct 2nd of April

Yeah considering that how many current gen games are still shared with PS4/XBO and ports like Jedi Survivor as Otter points out, we should see a lot of current gen games make their way to Switch 2, and they should hold up a lot better than similar ports of PS4 games to Switch.

I'm one of those folks who played games like Witcher 3 and Doom Eternal on Switch, so something like Doom The Dark Ages on Switch 2 (if indeed it comes) should be a nice step up.

Not everything will come of course, but I'm expecting better third party support than Switch 1 by virtue of publishers not being caught off guard this time and the fact that more games these days scale to lower end hardware.
