I hear so many "arguments" from peole:
PCs sell better, PC games sell better, PCs are longer supported...

Reality is: IF a PC gets supported longer you have to UPGRADE it.

No, you don't HAVE to, see above. A PC with GTX 1070 (now 8.5 years old, so longer than a console cycle) can handle ANY PC game except Indiana Jones and the Great Circle), even Alan Wake 2, Cyberpunk 2077 and other heavyweights. Of course with reduced settings, but it is still supported. The same of course is true for PC systems with GTX 1080 (8.5 years old), GTX 1080 Ti (8 years old), Radeon RX Vega 56/64 (7.5 years old). Even a GTX 980 Ti (9.5 years old) still can run almost any PC game, if it doesn't need more than 6 GB VRAM.

And even a much slower Steam Deck can handle Cyberpunk 2077 and most other newer games.

You spend more on that than on a console. So no!

Yes, the price-performance-ratio of consoles is unsually better, but not leagues ahead. And the last two years, the Steam Deck had a better price-performance-ratio than a Nintendo Switch.

A PC does not get supported longer than a console!

Yes it does, see above.

More PCs are sold,? Yes, when we take every PC into account for gaming, working, research, university, hospitals... yes of course. But for gaming? How many PCs can play current games? Less than consoles.

No.

A friend of mine modded his Xbox Series X, has an illigal mod chip inside and plays every game from steam on his Xbox.

Modding and emulation as a pro argument for consoles against PC? Are you alright?
Believe me, you don't wan't to start comparisons in this direction.

And these graphic cards still get produced? Nintendos Game Boy got produced till 2003 14 years. I can asure you: No 14 years old graphics card is gonna play GTAVI!! Every Nintendo handheld lasted around 10 years. Longer than your GTX1080. See what consoled did for gamlng. Nintendo had the first vibrating controller with the rumble Pak! The Sega Saturn had an analoge Stick long before the PC! The PC is a copycat that takes many things from consoles. You sound like a PC fanboy to me. But not only that. Light guns where on consoles way before the Siniden Light Gun! Or when we look at home cinema technology: Ambilight is a Philips exclusive technology that lets your TV reflect the colors in the picture. Ambilux is even more advanced! You can pump up your PC how much you like and you won't get that there! If you want high end sound you need a professional Amplifier wich has a sound quality no PC can give you!! For gaming PCs sell worse than consoles. Combinde all Playstations (close to 600 million sold), Xboxes (nearly 200 million sold), Nintendo (systems 870 million sold!!!), i am even excluding Sega, Atari... here! These are all consoles used for gaming first and foremore!!  These are close to 2 BILLION consoles and handhelds! There are not 2 billion gaming PCs out there, not even in wicked takatuka Wonderland!! Without TV and home cinema technology PCs would not even exist!!! Why? Look at the 1930 years in Germany: They had radios, TVs but no computers!! See what i mean? You act like the PC is some godlike invention wich it isn't!
