Middling IP, coming off a terrible movie (imo), people were disappointed it wasn't an Uncharted/Tomb Raider clone from the start, and is closer associated to Immersive Sims like Dishonored and Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, yeah this game was and will never reach the heights of other major licensed IPs like Spider-Man, but it still is undeniably doing as Mat says "pretty good." Which is probably already better than Wolfenstein 2 and New Blood performed lol

Wolfenstein 2 didn't actually do bad at all, while it's US NPD 1st month performance wasn't stellar (14th place), it did release with only 4 days left in the month and it was a crowded month that featured games like Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, Forza Motorsport 7, Assassin's Creed Origins, Mario Odyssey, The Evil Within 2 (yes Bethesda decided to release 2 of their games only like 2 weeks apart), Gran Turismo Sport, and South Park The Fractured But Whole, 2 of which released the same day as it, Assassin's Creed and Mario Odyssey. It did significantly better outside of the US, 4th place UK, 4th place Australia, 5th place New Zealand, 4th place Switzerland, 5th place France I believe.

Youngblood on the other hand flopped hard, and was likely what killed their plans for Wolfenstein 3. Failed to make top 20 on NPD in it's launch month (July, a not at all busy month for video games) compared to 14th in busy October for Wolfenstein 2. It did make #2 on UK and a few other countries charts 1st week, but a #2 in July is often nowhere near as good as 4th or 5th place in busy October, and it also had no legs, falling off the top 10 in those countries almost immediately after launch.
