Few years ago he was talking mad shit about Trump, I don't know who these people are trying to fool with tweets like this, oh literally days after Trump is elected Sam Altman "saw the light" and is suddenly pro-Trump. Don't treat us like fucking idiots and at least have some shred of self-respect to be honest, you turned your tune because you was bought out, as simple as that, I'd actually have just a shred more of respect for them if they were at least fucking honest instead of hiding behind this bullshit and simply said "I'm a billionaire who doesn't care about anything other than making more $"
IIRC This "$500m" stuff was in the works last year and is entirely being funded by the companies, Trump is only there for PR purposes, he is contributing nothing but wanted a W and billionaires are more than happy to give him them. Funnily Musk immediately trashed the announcement and said they've got nowhere near $500bn in investment, basically called this announcement out as bullshit, for once I agree with Musk, Lol.
Sam Altman I've never really been a fan of, he comes across as a charlatan, a fraudster, I don't know why Microsoft is so fucking obsessed with him, they went to stupid lengths to save him. Like that stupid comment he made saying he needs trillions of $ for AI. Now he's asking for $500bn when OpenAI loses $5bn+ per year? People like Sam Altman are the reason why I think AI will be a bubble that will burst, I just can't shake this slimeball feeling he gives me, he looks like someone just bullshitting his way to investment.
There's something about him, businesswise, that I just can't shake.
