"Mobile has a fatal flaw: it needs physical controllers, so never will be a good player platform. You cannot seriously play a game in a phone just using its touch-screen, so, its games can only be puzzle-like, or easy fast-action. Everything else? is too infuriating for the casual player, including an RPG. That's a shame, but that's true, and that's why Switch 1 changed the scene: cause it's like a tablet, but has buttons and sticks."

This is incorrect and outdated.

Both the dual sense and xbox controllers work with iPhones, I know because I've been playing my games on my iPhone with my controllers.

All of the  controllers (Dualsense, Switch pro controller and xbox controllers) can connect to iPhones and android phones since its all bluetooth so the argument about not being able to use controllers doesnt really work anymore. It might have been 10 years ago though but not now.

"I can not understand how is even possible, in 2025, Final Fantasy fanboys like you, continue to play any BS SE launch as "Final Fantasy" or with "Final Fantasy" in its name, and just... try to pretend FFXI or FFXIV does not exist or did not really count. Do you read me?"

What? "Try to pretend FFXI and FFXIV does not exist", the hell you talking about? I never said anything like that.

"but... how is it possible you are not in FFXIV?"

I've played different MMOs (Ragnarok Online, WoW, etc) from 2007 to 2012 and I stopped playing online games because they were a endless timesink  and that required playing with other people to actually get anywhere - and that didnt help considering the people I played with werent as focused as me.

I've always felt held back cause I always geared and spec'd my characters while everyone else I played with were slow and just wasting time.

For an example, only took me a week to fully gear in a Private Ragnarok Online server while the rest of a guild I was in didnt even get half of the stuff that they needed in a month.

But anyways, like I said I'm planning to play FFXIV in the future just for the fact that the first 3 parts of the game is accessible for free and they made the game single player friendly which is something that got my interest in.

I'm thinking about starting it sometime after I finish FFVII Remake Intergrade, FFXVI and FFVII Rebirth all of which I'm either playing or planning to play soon.

Oh...

yeah, of course smartphones/tablets CAN use controllers, and since maaaany many years ago, for sure. I don't know about iphones, but Androids? They are Linux systems, baby: Huge driver support there.

I could never managed to use a Switch "pro-controller" made by Hori (not a "normal" pro-controller by Nintendo or cheap one by thirds, but one with a gyroscope inside) in Windows 10. I can swear I searched deeply for PC drivers, official or unnofficial, or ANY other way to make it work: Windows always natively detected it, even using its name, BUT DID NOT WORKED AT ALL NEVER, wathever I did. The only case I can remember I found NO solution at all with one controller in Windows.

But it worked instantaneously in my Android phone via Bluetooth.

Problem with phone games are... I will NEVER play phone games or phone emulators, with controllers, outside home. Is not even easy to do just for physical inconvenience in many situations. Just that. But maybe I'm just me and many do now, so... Ok.

So you have a lot of experience in MMORPG. OK
MMORPG are a huge timesink? YES. but they can be much more fun to play than a 1 player time sinking game (they already exists). I mean, I'm not an expert in MMORPG, I "really" never played anything else than both FF, and I'm not active anymore, so... that's what I can tell. But when I played an MMORPG (FFXI, or FFXIV), I only played that game, for sure.
