The sensation I had... is they only did this video because everything was already leaked but they do not have yet a great bunch of games to show in a playable mode. That Mario Kart everyone is talking about... is probably just a prototype demo, or maybe just a concept. (I can be totally wrong).
They got for themselves 2 and half months more now, to not saying a single word about Switch 2 (roll eyes). A "trick" more interesting to be analysed, now, than the console itself (we already saw it, and probably we already know the finals specs, all leaked).
But this is NOT the worse Nintendo console presentation: People maybe do not remember how that black Wii prototype, the "Revolution", was presented in 2005 E3: Yeah, very amazing for the good news, but not a single game shown, only Iwata talking about random and not that interesting things. Not even the Wii-mote was presented, until literally a year later, in the next E3. Wii was a total mystery during 1 year. (Well... Iwata talked about the future Virtual Console, but just that).
What we got was the GameBoy Micro, which was TOTALLY forgotten, by EVERYONE, like 3 months after its launch, in fact.
Also... the WiiU presentation in 2011, one year and a half before its release (again in the E3) got a lot of "gameplay" in demos and concepts, but it was a total meh.
Seeing the panorama...I have the feeling they will release Switch 2 in october or november. I hope I'm wrong, because I wanted it much before, for April or May, but obviously this cannot be anymore (they will not release the console during its "presentation tour" around the world).
If my theory is true... there is a possibility Switch 2 and GTA VI... could be released on the same dates... Woops.
