On the subject of BC, fingers crossed Nintendo reveals during the April 2nd Direct that boost mode will be a thing. If it is, I don't see why they would wait until after then to reveal it. Then again, it could be some weird post-launch update to Switch. Let's not forget that Xbox One had no BC at all until it was patched in as part of the OS in 2015. A boost mode as a later update doesn't sound as crazy by comparison.
I'm not worried by Nintendo's statement that not every game will be backwards compatible. PS5 has a tiny list of non-compatible PS4 games. Xbox One has a pretty tiny list too but it's due to no Kinect support on Xbox Series. I think the dozen or so games that require IR won't be compatible because there's no IR sensor on Switch 2. And then maybe some titles here and there won't function. But I'm thinking 96-99% or so compatibility of Switch's library.

Probably it would dampen sales for Switch 1 even more if they reveal it now especially with them potentially releasing a Switch 1 direct next month and a Pokemon Direct.

Anyways, here's hoping there's boost mode too.
