I really don't like the argument of games being too big because just x percent finished them. This may be a good argument for linear games but not for games with open worlds. When I stop to play a game after 50 hours and didn't finish it, it doesn't mean that it was too big for me. It means that I had so much fun just doing other stuff that I didn't want or care to finish it. Decreasing the size of the game could very well make it a worse game for me even if I would finish it then.
