All you have to do is look at this page and see that most of the games listed that are releasing on the PS5 and Xbox Series aren't releasing on their predecessors so it's obviously not just me and those people but also most of the industry at this point. 

Ok your right it was announced back in June. My fault, but it is still a game releasing on PS4 in 2025 nonetheless. I'm not denying that the trend is moving away from last gen, but that PS4 is still relevant. There's nothing I can say to prove it. The only thing is to just watch the games keep coming to the PS4 and let that speak for itself

I'd say it's mainly relevant in terms of people playing older games like GTA 5 and Fortnite on it, not so much in terms of new game sales at this point but sure we can wait and see how things look by the start of 2026.
