We hear the same news every year.
Xbox is Dying/Dead
Xbox going 3rd Party
Xbox games going to other platforms.

The industry is constantly changing, software has a plethora of new system options to release on. To XB, one plastic box release makes zero sense. The games are too good to hold them hostage to a single platform. Sony are also doing similar things with PC etc.

Game budgets are just too high, it's suicidal to only sell them in one place unless you are Nintendo.

This is just crazy that people are still saying this when Xbox just got outsold 5:1 worldwide. The people that said that were right. Xbox as a console is dead, just see the "This is an Xbox" ad campaign for confirmation of that. Xbox IS going third party, see Indiana Jones and Doom dark ages for that. Also, Xbox games have gone to other platforms. It's not just the "changing industry", it's the Xbox brand failing and imploding. To play non GAAS Playstation games on PC, you have to wait over a year. That's how it should be. It's a 5:1 sales ratio, and it couldn't be more over for Xbox that it already is

You have failed to understand the industry that's the problem. As much as you love beating from your chest Xbox is dying, this is a term we have been hearing since the XB1 era. How many times can Xbox die? How many times are they going to die in 2025? Because I am afraid to tell you that there is going to be another Xbox, so something isn't adding up, you don't continue making hardware if the hardware isn't selling... or maybe Xbox console goals isn't to outsell Sony or Nintendo, maybe it's just there to provide an option. MS are most likely not producing that many Series S/X machines in the first place.

Let me educate you on this industry. This isn't the 90s and early 2000s anymore. The industry is evolving day by day. Unlike the past, where the only way to sell software was on a dedicated device, this day and age, there are a plethora of options that no longer require a plastic box to access the games.

As much as you want to deny the facts here, Xbox is building for the future, they are better placed than both Sony and Nintendo in the all-digital future, they own the gaming Cloud Network in Azure which Sony uses, they own the biggest operating system in the world, they own the biggest Publisher in ABK, they have the biggest gaming service in GamePass, sure they are not selling as well as Sony in the living room, that's where it ends.

The Popular saying goes "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger." Xbox make money on PS consoles with ABK and Bethesda games. Indiana Jones (Licensed Game) and Doom (Legacy Game) are of no Suprise they are multiplat either.

My question to you is, if Sony is doing so well, Why are they releasing games on PC and Switch? Why are companies like Square pulling out from Deals with Sony to go Multiplatform?
