They did. Tons of non-gaming apps are broken from that damn update at my work place.

Granted these apps are ancient, like 90s ancient and are not getting updated or replaced.

...As a software developer, am I glad that I can use Linux at work. I don't think my colleagues have had all that much trouble with Windows either, but I do know of some issues I can generally avoid by using Linux instead of Windows, and overall, I think it's a net win for me. I only wish I could use Linux in private too, but gaming in Linux still isn't quite there for me.
