Covert Cabal counted Russia's tank and AFV decline since the start of the war:

Russia is basically losing over 1000 tanks a year, and Russia still has over 3000 left. Sounds like they can go for another 2-3 years? Well, no, because those 3300 left are almost all in such terrible shape that they will need very extensive repairs to even function again, let alone to be of any use on the battlefield. In other words, it gets more and more difficult to replace the tanks for Russia.

The translucent lines are the total numbers as counted, while the thicker lines represent vehicles that are actually in any usable shape, and also includes vehicles that were in garages, hence why it's originally higher than what was visible at first. So yeah, not very much left that is of any use.

And here's a little breakdown of what's left, by tank type:

No more T-90, the T-80 is becoming an endangered species and barely any T-64 have come out of storage, so those are probably all junk. Which leaves Russia mostly just with T-72 and T-62, plus a few T-54/55, several of which are actually turned into BTS-4B Armored Recovery Vehicles.

What about the T-72's?  Don't they have autoloaders? are there any charts that breakdown how well preserved they are?  I'm thinking that the T-72s will be in worse shape because the autoloader tanks need to be maintained more carefully, which they Russians don't give a squat about since they are orcs after all.

In the video he details that he did in the past, but also that Russia might try to bring them all back to life just because they simply can't produce enough new ones. Of course, the higher the rate of disrepair the longer it takes and the less efficient it is to repair them, up to a point where it's getting pointless to even try bringing them back in any shape.

Another thing to consider is the possibility of Russia to buy North Korean tanks to fill the gaps for a while. North Korea has plenty of T54/55 and T-62 (all versions combined, over 3000 of them, though some got upgrades that would easily mark them as Korean instead of Russian vehicles) that Russia could buy instead of trying to repair the wrecks that they have.

However, this only works for tanks as NK hasn't nearly that much in terms of APC and pretty much zero IFV, so even if they could get by with the Tanks that way, anything else will become very limited starting summer.
