For me my gaming room is the living room

Powerful front speakers, I like it. Do you also have back speakers for surround sound?

Do you keep the lowboard open while playing to keep the PS5 cool?
If not, does the PS5 get hot with a closed cabinet?

The TV/audio furniture is about 10 cm removed from the wall and is fully open in the back, I can play with a closed lowboard without any heat issues. After long sessions the PS5 gets a bit warm, but not hot. Most of my gaming sessions are only a few hours, so usually I close the lowboard.

For surround sound I use a Sony H9 Inzone Headset, since that one is also compatible with PSVR2 and has decent sound.

I mostly play games where surround sound is not a very big deal. The sound quality from two speakers tends to be much higher per euro invested, also making the room is not that big, so it's difficult to fit decent surround speakers in there.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
