Given that the Wii U with a lower install base than PS5 still managed to release 4 games that sold more than 1 million copies in Japan, while PS5 as of now has 0 games that have sold 1 million copies in Japan i think its likely that PS5 is mostly just used as a Gacha Genshin machine in Japan. And given that Sony as a whole is going in a GAAS direction with most of their budgets now being directed to GAAS games it seems that the Switch 2 generation will see a near complete domination of classic single player games being bought on the Switch 2, with PS5 at that point just being entirely reduced to a Mihoyo machine.
