What I was getting at is that nowhere is it Christmas 'Day' on 24 december. I guess you're mistaken with Christmas 'Eve', which has a varying degree of importance between countries or regions, from non at all to a big deal.

But anyway yes obviously an announcement on Christmas, whether it be 24, 25 or 26 december (which actually is still Christmas where I am) was never going to happen.

Ok my bad sorry. When i hear "Christmas" i always think of december 24. But that does not matter anymore. I extended the "bet" to december 25 to his favour and maybe we can talk about today (december 26) wich is soon finished as well. What now? Who seriously believes in an anouncement this weekend? Again the pot is still open! 

Also it was important to point out, that a rumor of an announcement next year (even if it was true) is no announcement. Whats the name of the system? How does it look like+ at least 1 first party game announcement! December 24 (ok lets include 25 and 26 as well but that's already very tollerant)! That was the deal! It didn't happen, full stop! This guy really wanted to bet a million dollars😂.
