Remedy I believe has severed ties with Sweet Baby Inc anyway and they removed the mandatory prounouns on their job application form, so it seem like they are worried about being seen as woke now. Probably because it hurt the Alan Wake 2 sales. 

She wasn't oficially white either, so she wasn't gender swaped... I really don't think AW2 didn't sold as they expected because the protagonist is a black woman, this is absurd.

Well thats why people think its woke. Because the character used to be white and now shes black. So go tell them what you worked out. What do you want me to say?
