Metal Gear Solid isn't a game I would want to directly translate into a movie. The very general premise for the games...sure, maybe. I don't see how the game could more directly translate into a movie well enough though.
On a side note, I can imagine a few funny lines...
"Drop your controller popcorn!"
"I see you like to play castlevania watch Spiderman"
"Don't you even think of using auto fire the reclining chair!"
