This is problematic because one of my two hobbies is observing the skies with my telescope, however I can only do that a handful of times per year (I think I’ve only been out twice this year) because the weather sucks pretty much always, and it needs to be perfect.

I’d actually say this is a lot. But hey.
Anyway I don’t think I really ever have played games during christmas, let alone as a tradition, even back when it actually was my hobby. Maybe in the N64 and Gamecube days I played Mario Kart with my cousins or something. In any case it would have had to be something you played together, something lighthearted and something festive in a way.
