People only care if the game is bad. baldur's gate 3 uses Pronouns in a fantasy setting and was not used historically in forgotten realms but it had 0 effect on how much people loved that game. Game play/writing is still king and if a game does those 2 things well you can add all the Pronouns you want into the game and the vast majority of people won't care regardless of settings. |
Fair enough. I have not played BG3 and am surprised to not have heard any mention of pronouns in that game when people criticize other games like Starfield for the exact same thing. I guess people have more against bad writing than historically accurate settings.
